Fire Up Your Core with Dead Bugs
Looking for a new ab workout? Here’s a guaranteed way to really get that core fired up!
With this movement, you are basically inducing constant tension through the midsection by trying to squeeze the ball as hard as you can WHILE performing the “Dead Bug.”
Although the medicine ball shown is quite small, feel free to use any medicine ball that’s available to you. In fact, improvise if you don’t have one at home! You can use a football, volleyball, basketball, soccer ball, or even your bare hands.
Keep in mind that you control the intensity, so make the most of it by really trying to squeeze the ball as hard as you can and don’t let up until your reps (slow and controlled) are completed.
